Another Recent Honour

It was another recent honour to have MP Lois Brown purchase and donate my "Doors To Our Culture" fine art photograph to the Aurora Cultural Centre. MP Lois Brown had the vision and worked extremely hard to out-negotiate others in Ottawa to secure a substantial amount of government financing to breathe new life into the historical Aurora Cultural Centre building. All of Lois' and the Cultural Centre's staff's hard work is enjoyed by hundreds of people who pass through the doors every week. The vibrant red doors in the photo symbolize new beginnings and new possibilities and were photographed in the spring of 2010 when the Cultural Centre had it's grand re-opening after major renovations. Everyone who enters those red doors is sure to be inspired by all of the incredible artistic talent, programs and events - it's fantastic to discover something new happening there every week! This donation is a wonderful way to remember an important moment in the Aurora Cultural Centre's history.
